By creating an account or accessing KidsBrainTrail (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

The Platform is intended for use by students, parents, teachers, and school administrators. Students under 13 may only access the Platform through a parent- or teacher-managed account. By registering, you confirm that any information you provide is accurate and that you have authority to accept these terms on behalf of any minor in your care.

All questions, trails, syllabi, story contexts, images, and other educational content made available on the Platform (“Content”) are the exclusive intellectual property of KidsBrainTrail or its licensors and are protected by copyright, database rights, and other applicable laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access Content solely for personal, non-commercial educational use. This licence does not permit you to:

• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute Content in any form;
• Scrape, crawl, or programmatically extract Content via the API or any automated means;
• Sell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialise Content;
• Remove or obscure any watermark, copyright notice, or attribution.

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful educational purposes. You must not:

• Use automated scripts, bots, or API calls to bulk-download Content;
• Share your login credentials with third parties;
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures;
• Impersonate another user or misrepresent your identity;
• Upload or transmit malicious code or interfere with Platform integrity.

KidsBrainTrail employs technical measures including rate limiting, access controls, and digital watermarking to protect its Content. Accounts found to be engaged in bulk extraction, scraping, or redistribution of Content will be suspended immediately and may be subject to legal action under applicable copyright law.

If you believe that Content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to [email protected] including: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) identification of the infringing material and its location on the Platform; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement of good-faith belief; and (e) your signature.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Teachers and parents are responsible for the accounts of students under their supervision. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. Student accounts created by teachers or parents are subject to the supervising adult's consent.

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, KidsBrainTrail shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which KidsBrainTrail operates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
