Every learner has a summit.
BrainTrail is a standards-aligned practice platform for K–8 math and literacy. We turn daily practice into a climb up the mountain — something kids actually want to do — while giving teachers and administrators a clear, honest view of what each learner has mastered and where they're stuck.
Why we built it
Most practice tools force a trade-off: apps kids enjoy rarely give teachers real insight, and the tools built for teachers are the ones kids quietly abandon. BrainTrail exists to close that gap. Every question a student answers is both a step up their trail and a signal — not just right or wrong, but which misconception is in the way — so the adults around them can act before a small gap becomes a big one.
What we believe
- Motivation is a feature, not a gimmick. Streaks, badges, and summit celebrations exist to build a daily habit of real practice.
- Teachers deserve signal, not noise. Dashboards should point to the next teaching move, not bury it in charts.
- Privacy is the foundation. We don't sell student data and we don't advertise to children. Student privacy comes first, always.
- Standards matter. Content is mapped to Common Core and state standards so practice connects to what's taught in class.
Who it's for
BrainTrail serves the whole school community — families looking for practice they can feel good about, teachers who need to differentiate without the busywork, and schools and districts that need rostering, SSO, and reporting that works at scale. One platform, every role.
